Operation

Some R-net parameters need to be set correctly before the keypad is operational. The External Profile Jack Function in R-net can control up to eight actuators via an array of normally-open switches and resistors.

For optimal functioning of the Actuator Keypad, select these parameter values:

For more information, please refer to the Curtiss-Wright manual SK7798-14 - R-net Technical Manual - Chapter 3 - Programming.

Scoot Control

If the Actuator Keypad is mounted on a Scoot Control, there is a parameter available to control 10 axes (toggle). Only the Actuator Keypad CJSM2 is compatible with the Scoot Control.

Please refer to the Scoot Control Installation Manual for more information.

Actuator Keypad PRO

With the Actuator Keypad PRo it is possible to assign the keys individually and/or change the order.
CAUTION: Ideally, this is done once prior to installation. Although you can change the (order of the) keys any time you want, you should try to avoid this as much as possible.
By default, the buttons are mapped to axis 1 to 5:
However, by following these steps, you can change the order or map other axes:
  1. Open up the housing carefully by unscrewing the four screws
  2. Change the position of one or more cables, by inserting them in another 2-pin connector
CAUTION: Do not try to remove the cables from the 10-pin connector.
CAUTION: Make sure you do not damage the connectors or the cables. If they are damaged, correct functioning cannot be guaranteed.
CAUTION: Make sure the cables are not twisted over the 10-pole connector and the 8 2-pin connectors in order to avoid that cables get trapped between the housing and the connectors. Limit the bends in the cable.
  3. Close the cover again. Place the screws back in with a torque of 0.4 Nm.
Note: Make sure the cover is completely closed to avoid dust or water ingress.
